• STANLEY WALDEN (b.1932) has written music for the theater (musicals, operas, ballets) in America and Europe, as well as for the concert stage (Philadelphia, Chicago, Cleveland and Louisville Orchestras; chamber music for Jan DeGaetani, Reri Grist, Gilbert Kalish, Joel Krosnick, and many others). Excerpts from all of this work are on this site.

    Mr. Walden has been a clarinetist, actor, and director. With his wife Barbara, he founded the Musical/Show Department at the Berlin Universität der Künste. Born in Brooklyn, he now resides with his partner, Rhonda Rockwell, in Palm Springs, California.
